The Logo

Whoop… whoop finally I get a logo for the blog.
This was designed for me free of charge by a very good buddy. Yep, I have cool friends like that.
His name is Kojo Ampah (Kamp, gerrit?) and he’s very good at designing stuff as evident in what is above.

I have witnessed him destroy his textbooks, notebooks and writing pads with several designs on countless occasions. He even migrated to the school desks or my books when he run out of space.

So he came up with this for me.
The first time he showed it to me I laughed my head off.
I think I told him was crazy, yes he is, he’s crazy but the good kinda crazy.
Like every genius there’s a little bit of crazy in there somewhere. It’s what sets them apart from the rest of us, we the “normal” ones.

When I saw it, instantly I was in love with the design.
What I like about it is how Kojo using a simple drawing was able to capture the paradoxical nature of the name of the blog “THE SILENT SCHMOOZER”.

I also like how it has an air and feel of conviviality attached to it, with the wink and long pointy mustache.

I love the colour combination and I think it’s great.
I love how simple it is and how easy it looks on the eye.
For me it only affirms the quote

“simplicity is genius”.

In case you do not agree with me and think otherwise then, well,  you can go hug a transformer and die.
Or better still why not design one for me but still hug that transformer because this wasn’t designed for you, it was designed for ME!!!!!
